SALE ADVANCE LOANS

Sell luxury assets through auction/private sale and receive funds immediately rather than waiting for the sale to take place, which could be months later.

Summary

Sale advance provides a powerful facility to realise an immediate proportion of the monetary value of luxury assets ahead of a sale. Suros Capital will then use its experience and longstanding connections to auction houses and other specialists to place our client’s luxury assets in the right channel, at the right time, to sell at the best price, and with preferential auction house commissions.

KEY FEATURES

  • Our experts ensure the sale goes through the right conduit to achieve the best price
  • Immediate cash sum to release most of the asset value
  • Removes the hassle of organising the sale

Our Process

4 simple steps to selling your luxury assets.

1. VALUATION

We use our in-house experts and our extensive network of auction houses and external valuers to value, authenticate and confirm the ownership of the luxury asset(s).

2. AGREEMENT

The estimated sale price is agreed, and the sales channel and the luxury asset is consigned for sale. We have access to preferential rates from auction houses.

3. ADVANCE

Once the contracts which determine the sale channel, terms and distribution of sale proceeds are signed, the client immediately receives a cash advance of up to 70% of the estimated sale price.

4. Sale

3 -12 months later, the sale takes place, and the proceeds are distributed accordingly. If the sale is not successful, a new longer-term contract can be agreed.

Frequently asked questions

Who is sale advance specifically for?

For clients who want to raise money quickly through selling an asset, sale advance is of particular value.

Suros Capital can offer up to 70% of the estimated sale price in advance of a sale as a cash advance. By making use of sale advance, clients can have immediate access to the bulk of the monetary value. Suros Capital takes over the sale process and guarantees to return any extra value, should the items exceed the expected sale price.

For example, the owner of a luxury asset valued at £300,000, who received a £150,000 cash advance from Suros Capital, would then receive an additional £100,000 (having deducted sale commissions and loan interest), assuming the sale price of £300,000 was realised.

SHOULD I USE SALE ADVANCE OR A BRIDGE LOAN?
It depends on your preference and circumstances. Some of our clients have strong attachments to their luxury assets and want to retain ownership while some are looking to sell their luxury assets to raise liquidity.
Why would I SELL THROUGH YOU instead of GOING DIRECTLY TO AN auction house?

The cash advance allows a person whose assets include relatively illiquid valuable artworks and other collectibles to quickly tap the equity of those assets. This is especially appealing to collectors who have large short-term financial needs and can’t wait for a consigned painting, sculpture or necklace to actually sell at the best price, which can take months or even years, in some cases.
