LOANS ON FINE WINE

We offer short term loans against fine wine with competitive interest rates and no impact on affordability. Loans available from £20,000 to £2 million with terms from 3 to 24 months.

BRIDGE LOANS

Use your fine wine as security for a loan. This prevents you from having to sell your luxury asset(s) as it is returned to you once the loan is repaid. This offers an alternative to a traditional bank loan or property bridging loan.

SALE ADVANCE LOANS

Sell your fine wine and receive funds immediately rather than waiting for the sale to take place. Our experts work with you to find the best sales channel to sell your luxury asset and you receive a large proportion of the auction reserve price immediately.

ACQUISITION LOANS

Take advantage of fine wine investment opportunities when they arise. You can bid at auction, settle the purchase with our loan and then take possession of the asset at a later date.

We lend against a wide selection of fine wine ranging from Château Pétrus to Romanée Conti. Whether you have a large or small collection, we can provide you with an accurate valuation. We consider many variables when appraising your fine wine. Some of the key influences are:

  • Vintage – Wines from the best vintages and older wines can command higher prices.
  • Scarcity – Rare bottles of wine can demand a premium.
  • Condition – Damage to the bottle, cork or label can negatively impact the value.
  • Provenance – Paperwork or any other purchase documentation can increase value.

It is advised that fine wine is collected by one of our specialist logistics partners. During transportation, fine wine is fully insured against theft, damage, and wear. Your wine collection is then stored at one of our specialist partner facilities in the appropriate climate-controlled conditions.

In certain cases, if fine wine is already in storage with a professional wine storage facility, we may be able to leave it there for the duration of the loan, rather than move it to one of our partner’s facilities.
