LOANS AGAINST WATCHES

We offer short term loans against luxury watches with competitive interest rates. No credit checks or impact on affordability. Loans available from £20,000 to £2 million with terms from 3 to 24 months.

BRIDGE LOANS

Use your luxury watches as security for a loan. This prevents you from having to sell your luxury asset(s) as it is returned to you once the loan is repaid. This offers an alternative to a traditional bank loan or property bridging loan.

SALE ADVANCE LOANS

Sell your luxury watches and receive funds immediately rather than waiting for the sale to take place. Our experts work with you to find the best sales channel to sell your luxury asset and you receive a large proportion of the auction reserve price immediately.

AUCTION ACQUISITION LOANS

Take advantage of luxury watch investment opportunities when they arise. You can bid at auction, settle the purchase with our loan and then take possession of the asset at a later date.

We lend against a wide range of luxury watch brands including Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet. We consider many variables when appraising your luxury watch:

  • Brand and model – Certain brands and whether your watch is limited edition, discontinued or a current model can impact value.
  • Condition – The aesthetic and working condition of your luxury watch will influence our valuation.
  • Age – Vintage watches are valued on their scarcity whereas modern watches tend to be valued on how new they are.
  • Provenance – Any paperwork, original boxes, sale records will be taken into consideration.

Our in house logistics team arrange for watches to be collected by us or a courier service. Alternatively, clients can arrange an appointment and bring their watches to us.

When watches are at our appraisals centre, they are handled under CCTV and photographed. Should the client choose to proceed with the loan, their watches will be stored in our highly secure vaults.

Whilst watches are with us, they are subject to specialist care. We guarantee watches are returned to clients in either the same or an even better condition than before. With our ‘White Glove Experience’, a condition report is provided for each watch and they are stored in boxes/pouches for the duration of the loan.

FRequently asked questions

Your questions answered.

How much can I borrow against my luxury watch?

We typically lend between 50 to 70% of the value of your luxury watches. For example, a collection of Rolex watches appraised at £110,000, we would be able to lend you up to £77,000.

Do you offer loans to watch dealers?

In addition to offering loans to watch owners and investors, we also offer dealer inventory loans to traders and retailers in the watch industry.

What LUXURY assets do you accept?

We accept a wide range of luxury assets including, but not limited to luxury and classic cars, fine art, watches, jewellery and diamonds, fine wine, antiques and gold.

Why loan against and not sell your luxury watch?

Luxury watches are quite frequently purchased to commemorate a milestone or collected as an investment. Therefore watch owners often want to retain ownership of their timepieces and don’t want to sell. However, if a short term loan is needed, the equity held in your luxury watches can be temporarily released to solve your liquidity issues.

Where can I loan against my luxury watch?

Suros Capital is based in London, however, we can lend to clients across the UK and sometimes worldwide, although this depends on the client meeting certain lending criteria. Please contact us to see how we can help you.
