Channel: Mortgage Broker
Client: Parent, 42 years old, Devon
Assets: Vintage Aston Martin DB6 car worth £105,490
Loan: £73,843 (70% LTV)

BACKGROUND

The client from Devon required urgent funding to cover her children’s school fees. After consulting with their mortgage broker, it was clear that refinancing their home was not a viable option as the payment was due at the end of the week. The client owned a vintage Aston Martin DB6, purchased as a collector’s item and didn’t want to sell.

OUR SOLUTION

The mortgage broker recommended Suros Capital as a fast and confidential way to borrow the required funds without having to sell the car. The Suros Capital team called the client directly and arranged an appraisal at their home, where the car was stored. Our appraisals team valued the Aston Martin DB6 at £105,490 and were able to offer the full £73,843 the client required. The car was taken to our specialist storage facility and the funds were transferred in two days from the initial enquiry.

INTRODUCER COMMENTS

“My client was delighted to find she could access funding so quickly with so little hassle. The Suros Capital service suited her perfectly as she was happy to use the Aston Martin as loan security. She knows that not only is the car safely stored but that the loan can be repaid whenever they want to release the car without any penalty. I was delighted for my client and very impressed with the service they received.”
